Which companies make the best automotive replacement parts? - replacement parts gpa helmets
Do you think the company can be trusted when it comes to auto parts more often than motor oil, oil filters, air filters, spark plugs come, etc?
Recommend to a specific company, when it comes to replacing a specific part? For example, K & N air filter better, Mobil 1 for the best engine oil, etc.

Oil: Valvoline, Castrol, Mobil
Oil filters, Wix, Purolator, Baldwin, (NAPA, Motorcraft, AC Delco are repackaged and made by Wix and Purolator)
Air Filters: Wix, Purolator, K & N
Candles .. NGK, AC Delco, Motorcraft, Dodge and Jeep Champions dense only acceptable, but NGK is better.
best air filter for performans, K & N.. AirRaid is very good and also cheaper.
.. best oil is all a matter of opinion. Mobil 1 is good, the factory fill in many cars. However, I prefer Valvoline SynPower.
Always the "Fram" avoid too! Avoid Pennzoil and Quaker State.
Cheapo filter is probably one of the Fram.
Why? Fram oil filters have a base of cardboard, which breaks under higher pressure and not ever to break the filter then it as a disability and the pump must work harder to push oil through it. In the meantime, is up to 30 seconds to 20 minutes, the Click-Clack-valve.
when they stop, the oil is finally over, push the filter.
Fram quality is low. Air filters are fine, but if their oil filters are designed with links in them, why the time a transaction with them?
Ford truck with the filter membrane type, there is a nose cone made of plastic that is glued to the top, then I saw that and stop blocking the opening of the air filter. Fram, Go!
Oh .. FRAM filter is not good. If you use the "Fram", at least the use of hardware Guard is done differently and not Jacked Up as the others.
Pennzoil-Quaker State and used to make paraffin (a form of wax) on their oil. You can damage the wax can be done when an engine is destroyed.
Nice, eh? But today, no time to want to buy an oil that took a shortcut waste.
Valvoline for life!
K & N Filters are not the best. It is possible that flow better than other filters, but no filter and a filter paper, to make them dirty. They go for gasoline engines, but should not the oil filter for fuel injection, air mass sensor and / or can be used to pollute the IAT sensor mat. GM and Ford have both published PCO to resolve this problem.
Mobil 1 oil is great. The best? Maybe. It is also very expensive. I service a fleet of limousines, which have more than 400k miles on it. We use conventional oil (Quaker State) and in Group 7 and filter changed every 7500 miles. Our client has ever suffered an engine failure. Does this mean that oil filters are the 7 and QS classic group like the most? Hardly. If you use MBremoved bil 1 or Amsoil in the engine and 400k miles, I am sure that I will show less wear on the engines of our customers appear to be conventional oil. The difference would probably be minimal, though. No point in my opinion.
Here is a brief overview of the manufacturers that I trust and use daily:
Filters: Purolator, AC Delco, man, Wix, Motorcraft
Spark plugs: NGK, AC Delco, Nippondenso, Autolite (only Ford products produced - Autolite OEM plug for Ford / Motorcraft), Champion (the only Chrysler products) and Bosch (some German car)
Brake pads, shoes, rotors and drums Raybestos (premium line, and only for domestic vehicles) Attach car (only European imports) and Akebono (Asia)
Spark Plug cables, ignition parts: Prestolite, Standard (Premium Line) Taylor
Batteries: AC Delco, Interstate
Tires: Yokohama, Michelin, General, Kumho.
Oil: QA classic Quest For synthetic (manufactured by Ashland Oil AKA Valvoline, as in the synthesis of PNA)
Refrigerant: We use traditional coolant Green Car Quest, Quest Car G05/G07 for Ford and Chrysler and Dex Cool. Also, the use of refrigerants OEM Toyota, Honda, Mercedes, Volvo and others. Red Toyota coolant is an excellent choice for vehicles of any color when the system thoroughly before you switch.
Others:
Lucas Oil Products Trade steering fluid / stop sealants. It will save a rack and not to stop seal small losses. GrFood for older cars, which were adequate compensation cost prohibitive.
Lucas also produces a transmission leak stop-slip/stop. We have had great success with it on older vehicles moving surges and seal minor leaks had.
I am an expert ASE certified parts and the best option is the common sense.
Marking on the back of its oil container, you can find the specifications. It is a known number of SAE. Society of Automotive Engineers and has a 2-digit code, such as Greece or AP. The codes are in alphabetical order, so that a code AB is better than AA. Read what he calls his team, and get an oil that meets or beats that of the specification. And a tip for saving money: NAPA oil is bottled by Valvoline and therefore the same. NAPA oil is cheaper.
Filter, always something with a lot of filtering installations) a large number of wrinkles (wrinkles in the fabric is, etc. That, you can filter more contaminants than other filters. WIX is one of the best.
Spark plugs. Get the plug that fits your car. The brand does not matter. Champion, NGK, Autolite Delco ... Everyone has made the same specifications. If you want to add a quality that only a core that a metallic. Avoid the cheapest in the heart of copper, which have a platinum or iridium. The metal higher quality, better fuel efficiency, and sustainability of the candle.
And in fact, ceramic brake pads are the best option. You are not a "better" materials, which would you say your brake rotor as some may be damaged. Heat editing other than "soft" pads, and extend the life of your brake job.
Moreover, in a comment in an earlier answer on air filters. None of the functions of the air filter is effective if installed new. A filter paper, K & Amp; N filter, air filter all need a layer of dirt and dust, as a concept, a binder before they played at their highest level. So we should not change the air filter ever. And also why there is no recommended maintenance interval for air filters, oil filters, as it is.
